The band returned to Shetland for Christmas 1980, and
singer Davie Henry decided he would like to stay home.
The band now needed a singer and a fiddler.
A few months earlier, the band had been sent an impressive
demo tape of the Irish style fiddler and multi-instrumentalist
George Faux from Liverpool. Also, they had been thinking
of asking an old friend from Shetland, Ivor Pottinger,
to join on vocals and guitar. Ivor had played in bands
around Shetland for a while, and came from a large family
of singers and musicians. When the band returned to
Edinburgh in 1981, they were joined by both Ivor and
George.
