1980: Edinburgh and Beyond: |
(3/3) |
November 1980 saw
the band on tour in Northern Ireland. With Davy having
left the band, they called upon the help of old friend
Bob Maclaine, from Skye, who had been staying in Shetland
for a number of years. This tour was a strange experience
for the boys as, with the "hunger strikes" at
their peak, tensions were high. However, the friendliness
of the locals more than made up for any worries the band
might have had.
